How VlogsMedia decides what to cover, and what keeps commercial interest out of it.
This page explains how VlogsMedia works, so you can judge what you read here.
Who decides what we cover
We choose our own subjects. No brand, retailer or affiliate network picks our topics, sees an article before it goes live, or has any say in what a review concludes. We do not publish sponsored posts or paid placements dressed up as editorial.
How we research
VlogsMedia is a research desk rather than a testing lab. Our reviews are built from the public record: verified buyer reviews at scale, independent laboratory and workshop testing published by others, manufacturer documentation and specifications, and long-running owner communities where problems surface over time.
We say so plainly on the page. We do not claim to have bought, handled or lived with a product when we have not. Where a review draws on genuine first-hand use, we say that too.
What we will not do
- Invent quotes, testimonials or reader feedback.
- Publish scores or ratings we have not actually formed. VlogsMedia does not rate out of ten at all.
- Claim awards, certifications or partnerships we do not hold.
- State a price as current when we have not checked it.
- Recommend something we would not suggest to someone we know.
Money
Some links on this site earn us a commission. Those links never decide what we cover, what we recommend, or the order we put things in. A product that is wrong for a reader stays wrong for a reader regardless of what it pays. Our affiliate disclosure sets this out in full.
Bylines
An article carries a writer???s name only where that writer has a published profile on this site. Everything else is credited to VlogsMedia as a publication. We would rather credit the title honestly than attach a name to work for the look of it.
Dates
Every article shows when it was published. An ???updated??? date appears only when the piece was genuinely revised ??? not when a template changed or a page was merely re-saved.
Mistakes
We correct them. See the corrections policy for how to report one and what we do about it.
